"Sher bhukha hai" - Suryakumar Yadav's startling reaction to Sarfaraz Khan's exceptionally controlled half-century

India batter Suryakumar Yadav dropped a startling reaction after Sarfaraz Khan slammed a vital half-century in the ongoing fifth Test against Dharamsala. The senior India batter praised his fellow Mumbai batter for his knock with an Instagram story.
Sarfaraz Khan played a vital role for Team India in the ongoing game against England in Dharamsala. The batter, who made his debut, for India in Rajkot made sure that he kept his golden touch going and played another handy knock for the team in the longest format of the game.
Sarfaraz Khan walked out to bat during the tricky phase and made sure that India didn’t falter. He negotiated the tricky phase well and once he was in, he made sure that he took the game away from the opposition. The batter played an aggressive brand of cricket and hit some glorious shots in his innings.
Sarfaraz Khan, who bagged failure in the last match in Ranchi, made sure that he sets the stage on fire in the ongoing game. He along with Devdutt Padikkal (65) made sure that India put pressure back on the opposition and took a big first-innings lead in the game.
Sarfaraz Khan ended with an innings of 56 runs off 60 balls. He hit 8 boundaries and 1 six in his innings. This was his third fifty-plus score in Test cricket. He hit half-centuries in both innings of his debut game in Rajkot and would want to add more to his tally in the next innings.
As Sarfaraz Khan raced away to his half-century, Suryakumar Yadav was in awe of that. He shared a story on the Instagram account with the picture of the Mumbai batter and captioned it: “Sher bhukha hai (The tiger is hungry).”

Naushad Khan, Sarfaraz’s father, recently revealed about how Suryakumar Yadav convinced him to attend the batter’s debut game in Rajkot. The Mumbai Indians batter told the father of his teammate that he had to be there.
Naushad Khan further stated that watching Sarfaraz Khan get his debut cap was a dream come true moment for his family. Speaking to Sportstar, he stated:
“When my family was around when I received the Test cap last year in Nagpur, it was a surreal moment for all of us. You have to be there. That forced me to alter the plans and we tried to see if all of us can come down,” Suryakumar Yadav’s words
“Due to limited flight connectivity to Rajkot, we could get only one plane ticket, but after watching the dream of the family coming true, I feel it was worth coming down at the last minute.”
With the kind of hard work Sarfaraz Khan has put in and the performances that he has given in the domestic circuit and India team, it would be hard for selectors to ignore him. It remains to be seen how he fares going ahead for the team.
