India batter Virat Kohli dropped a brilliant reaction after Team India under the leadership of Rohit Sharma won the Test series against England. He lauded the grit, determination, and resilience of the young players who played in the series.

India displayed a magnificent performance in the fourth Test in Ranchi and won the game from the jaws of defeat. They clinched the game by the margin of 5 wickets and with this they also clinched the series by 3-1 with one match to go in Dharamsala, slated to take place from 7th March.

As India defeated England in the Ranchi on the back of the gritty performances by young players, Virat Kohli hailed the series win as phenomenal. He took to his Twitter account and said:

???YES!!! Phenomenal series win by our young team. Showed grit, determination and resilience.???

In the absence of Virat Kohli, the youngsters chipped in tremendously well and stood tall when it mattered the most. With the way the fourth game started, it was almost certain that India would lose and the series would get levelled at 2-2 going into the last game.

After England ended their first innings with 353 runs, they put India under pressure and had them reduced at 177/7. It seemed that the visitors would take a lead of over 100 but the youngsters in Dhruv Jurel changed the course of the game and tilted the match in India???s favour.

Dhruv Jurel played a magnificent inning of 90 runs and took India past 300 runs, reducing the lead to just 46 runs. The keeper-batter batted with great maturity and showd great signs of composure. His innings provided much-needed confidence to the Indian team and they came up with a terrific bowling performance.

India bundled out England for just 145 runs and set themselves a target of 192 runs to chase. Things got bit tricky while chasing as India was reduced to 120/5. But this time, it was Shubman Gill, who held the fort for the team and slammed a solid half-century. Dhurv Jurel also contributed as the hosts chased the target with 5 wickets in hand.

Virat Kohli to make a comeback in IPL 2024

India batter Virat Kohli pulled out of the ongoing Test series due to family reasons. He along with his wife Anushka Sharma recently gave a birth to second child, named Akaay. The duo welcomed the baby on 15th February and this potentially is the reason why he didn???t play in the series.

Virat Kohli will now be making a comeback in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The batter will be playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore and would want to end the title drought for his team. The franchise is still in the hunt for the title and would be eager to claim their first one in an upcoming edition.

The upcoming IPL 2024 will individually be very crucial for Virat Kohli. With the T20 World Cup 2024 around the corner, he would want to make a big statement and make his case strong the selection. He recently made a comeback in T20Is during T20I against Afghanistan but couldn???t create a statement as he would???ve wanted
