India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made a sensational comeback after an injury and lit up his home crowd. The third match of the five-match series between India and England is taking place at the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium in Rajkot.

Ravindra Jadeja oozed his class with the bat as he played a sensational innings and helped his team get out of trouble. He came to bat when team India was at 33/3 but after that, he along with skipper Rohit Sharma (131) put them in a dominant position.

Ravindra Jadeja soaked in all the pressure and played one of his finest innings in the Test.  The all-rounder made sure that he got his eye in and once he did that there was no looking back. He made sure he made his comeback after the injury special.

Ravindra Jadeja yet again proved why he is rated the MVP of the Indian team in Tests. The all-rounder first paved his way through the half-century. But was focused on playing a big knock and did exactly that, slamming his Test ton at his home ground.

Ravindra Jadeja brought his Test century in 198 balls and entertained his home crowd. The all-rounder, however, didn’t celebrate much because he knew that he was at fault when Sarfaraz Khan got run out. Here’s the video of his celebration:

Ravindra Jadeja has been nothing short of exceptional at his home ground in Rajkot. In the 12 matches at the venue, the all-rounder has scored 1564 runs at an average of over 142. He also had four half-centuries and 6 tons at the venue.

Ravindra Jadeja was unbeaten at 110 off 212 balls with nine boundaries and two sixes and made sure India ended with a total of over 300 runs on the board. At stumps on Day 1, India was 326 for five.

Ravindra Jadeja achieves a special milestone in Test cricket

Ravindra Jadeja during his innings achieved a special milestone in the longest format of the game. The all-rounder became just the third player in the history of the game for India with a double of 3,000 runs and 200 wickets in Tests.

Ravindra Jadeja joined the likes of Kapil Dev (5248 runs, 434 wickets) and Ravichandran Ashwin (3271 runs, 499 wickets) in the elite list. He now has 3003 runs and 280 wickets and the number is only expected to rise with the way he is going.

Ravindra Jadeja would be hoping to add more runs on Day 2 and help his team post a big total on the board. The all-rounder is also expected to play a huge role with the ball as well. If India have to fancy their chances of winning, the all-rounder will have to play a huge role.
