Arshdeep Singh grabbed a magnificent milestone during IND vs IRE 2nd T20I on Sunday (August 20). The Indian pacer clinched his 50th wicket in T20Is during the match.
Arshdeep Singh bowled 4 overs in IND vs IRE 2nd T20I at The Village Stadium in Dublin. He picked 1 wicket and conceded 29 runs in his spell, bowling at an economy of 7.20.

Arshdeep Singh achieved the mark of 50 T20I wickets in his 33rd T20I match. Thus, he became the 2nd fastest Indian player to reach the milestone. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav achieved the feat in his 30th match and is the top Indian name on this list.

Hence, Arshdeep Singh is the fastest Indian pacer to reach the mark of 50 wickets in T20Is. The Punjab pacer made his international debut last year and has been a regular member of the T20I team.
The 24-year-old pacer reached the mark of 50 T20I wickets after dismissing Ireland opener Andrew Balbirnie in IND vs IRE 2nd T20I. Balbirnie slammed 72 runs off 51 balls before Arshdeep got him out with an edge.

Arshdeep Singh now accounts for 50 wickets in 33 T20Is at an average of 18.98. His economy stands at 8.34. His best bowling show is a four-wicket haul for 37 runs.
India Crush Ireland By 33 Runs In 2nd T20I
Meanwhile, India crushed Ireland by 33 runs in the 2nd T20I to get an assailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Batting first, the visitors posted 185-5 in 20 overs with a half-century by Ruturaj Gaikwad (58). Sanju Samson and Rinku Singh also added crucial 40 and 38 runs respectively.

Later, opener Andrew Balbirnie smacked 72 runs for Ireland. However, the rest of the batters got out cheaply. Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishan, and Ravi Bishnoi hunted 2 wickets each to restrict Ireland to 152-8 in 20 overs.
With victories in the first two games, India has already sealed the three-match T20I series against Ireland. IND vs IRE 3rd T20I takes place on August 23 at The Village Stadium in Dublin.
