Rahul Dravid, the head coach of India, has rejoined the team following a brief sabbatical following the T20 World Cup. The head coach travelled to Bangladesh and has his sights set on the ODI World Cup, which will be hosted in India in 2023.

Virat Kohli, one of the Indian team’s biggest assassins, shattered the chains and struck a century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022 after a protracted dry spell under Rahul Dravid.

It’s A Really Good Sign For Us If Virat Kohli Can Build Up: Rahul Dravid

Virat Kohli has an outstanding ODI template, according to Dravid, who has been in charge since late 2021, and his track record speaks for itself.

“I think Virat has an incredible template in 50-over cricket wherein he knows just when to be aggressive and when to control a game and it’s incredible to watch. It’s a really good sign for us if he can build up,” Dravid told BCCI in an interview.

I Know Virat Kohli’s Really Hungry: Rahul Dravid

The former Indian batter, though, acknowledged that it has been amazing to see Kohli train and get ready for his competitions.

“I know he’s really hungry. He feels he is back and training as hard as I have ever seen him and I think that for me being one of the standouts over the last year and half, just watch the way he trains and prepares and I think that never changes irrespective of whether he is doing well or not and that is a great lesson for a lot of young players coming into the group” Dravid further added.
