Rohit Sharma will miss the first Test due to the injury he sustained in the second ODI. KL Rahul will lead the side whereas Cheteshwar Pujara has been appointed as the vice-captain for the first Test. Some key players for India in the series are Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer. Among bowlers, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, and Umesh Yadav will lead the attack.
