IND vs BAN: "Legend In The Making"- Twitter Reacts As Rishabh Pant Smashes Bangladesh Bowlers All Over The Ground

Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is back to his absolute best as he smashes Bangladeshi bowlers all over the park on the second day of the second test match between India and Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, and Cheteshwar Pujara were all dismissed in the first session, giving Bangladesh a strong start to the day. Early in the second session, Taskin Ahmed defeated Virat Kohli, but since then, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant have turned the tables on the hosts. In just 49 balls, Pant quickly reached his 11th half-century as their counterattacking combination put the onus back on the hosts.

Rishabh Pant Rescues Team India Once Again

Rishabh Pant, the standout wicketkeeper-batsman for Team India, had come under heavy fire recently for his patchy performance in the limited-overs forms. Pant had underperformed for the team during the ODI series against New Zealand in November and was out with an injury for the Bangladesh ODIs.

The most notable of Pant’s spectacular efforts in the limited overs games this year was the century he scored against England in the series-deciding game at Old Trafford.

However, Pant put up another strong performance on Day 2 of the second Test in the current Test series against Bangladesh, saving India from disaster after the team had collapsed to 94/4 in the first innings.

On day two of the second Test against Bangladesh, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer both scored unbroken half-centuries to lead India to 226 for four at tea. With 132 runs for the fifth wicket still undone, the two had brought the team’s deficit to only one run behind Bangladesh.
