IND vs BAN: Mohammed Siraj Reveals The Face Off Between Him & Litton Das

Indian Cricket Team had a magnificent outing on Day 2 of the Test Match. The Men in Blue earlier notched up a massive 1st innings score of 404 runs. Mohammed Siraj was on fire as on the very first ball, the speedster took the wicket of Najmul Shanto and was quite disciplined in his line and length.
Bangladeshi batters weren’t able to adjust to the pace and bounce of the pitch. It looked as if they were tired after being on the field for more than 130 overs. The skipper Shakib’s decision to bat at the No.6 position was questionable as the top order was quite fragile.

Mohammed Siraj on Litton Das
After the match, Siraj was having an interaction with reporter and was asked about the incident with Litton Das. “No, nothing. I said, ‘Ye T20 format nahi hai, ye Test cricket hai (this isn’t T20, this is Test cricket. Play sensible cricket.’” said Mohammed Siraj.

The dismissal of Litton Das proved to be quite decisive as he was set and was looking ominous. Litton had scored 24 runs in 30 balls where he smashed 5 fours. Litton has the knack of taking the game away from the opponent through his aggressive stroke-play.
Huge Task for Bangladesh
The Bangladeshi Tigers currently are trailing by 271 runs and would be keen to avoid the follow on. All eyes would be on Mehidy Hasan to take the team out of the muddle as the batter recently thrashed India in the ODI Series. Bangladesh have got themselves to blame as their batters didn’t show any intent.
India on the other hand would be delighted after their performance as they have outplayed Bangladesh in all the 3 facets of the game. Skipper KL Rahul has been spot on with his captaincy as his field placings have been remarkable.
