Indian Cricket Team lost yet another ODI Series against Bangladesh in Bangladesh. The Men in Blue lost the 2nd ODI match by a mere 5 runs. Bangladesh would be feeling quite relieved as the skipper Rohit Sharma almost took the team over the finish line by smashing an unbeaten knock of 51 runs in 28 balls where he smashed 3 fours and 5 sixes.

The Men in Blue would be utterly disappointed with their performance as this squad was not a second-string one. It looked as if the batters were not ready for a challenge as chasing 272 runs is not a tough task in modern cricket.

Rohit Sharma Hits 500 International Sixes

The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has now become the second batter to smash 500 International Sixes. The batter now has 502 sixes to his name and is behind former West Indies batter Chris Gayle who had struck 553 sixes. Rohit Sharma showed a lot of courage as coming out to bat with an injured hand is never easy given on a spicy wicket.

Tough Loss for India

Shikhar Dhawan would be worried as he hasn’t been able to put a significant score on the board. The batter would be well aware of the fact that he isn’t guaranteed a spot in the playing 11. India should have sent Axar Patel ahead of Washington Sundar at the No.4 position as he is quite experienced as Sundar was seen struggling.

Once again, there would be questions raised over the team’s preparation. There is uncertainty regarding Deepak Chahar as the pacer didn’t complete his quota of overs. Head Coach Rahul Dravid needs to have some serious conversations with players because such sort of defeats is not only humiliating but demoralizing.
