India National Cricket Team stand-in captain KL Rahul could not play a big knock for his side in the second innings of the Dhaka Test against Bangladesh National Cricket Team on Day 3 on Friday, December 24.
The Second Test of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh is being played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

In the opening session of the third day, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jaydev Unadkat, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Siraj all claimed a wicket each, giving India a firm grip on the game. However, first Test centurion Zakir Hasan managed to hold up one end and put up some resistance in the second session with Litton Das at the other end. Soon after the third over began, Zakir’s innings came to an end, but Bangladesh immediately mounted a comeback.
Litton Das took control after a brief cameo from Nurul Hasan, which helped Bangladesh gain an early lead before increasing it to beyond 100. Taskin was unbeaten on 31 off 46 when the innings was called off due to confusion, and Bangladesh gave India a target of 145.

During the third day of the second Test match of ongoing India’s tour of Bangladesh in Mirpur, India captain KL Rahul was the first batter to get out without adding a lot to his overnight score.
Here’s How Twitter Reacted to KL Rahul’s Failure in the Second Innings:
Thank you #KLRahul for your memories. Happy retirement. Now never comeback in our team. No one cares about you n no requirement of a dead player like you. Go n play IPL and earn money because you never earn our respect.

Rules for dropping players should be the same, we have a spinner who took 8 wickets and gets dropped in the next test match and here is @klrahul who always gets picked no matter what @BCCI instead of earning money try taking some cricketing decisions

I'm sorry, Yes #KLRahul is Great player but he can't be given captaincy in Test…. He doesn't have ability to be captain of test matches…. #INDvsBAN #BANvIND

KL Rahul should have set example by going hard from the ball go instead he opted for defence.
I would be happy if our scored read 50-2 in 10 overs than what it is now #BANvsIND— Abhijeet Andansare (@ImAbhijeet01) December 24, 2022
What a great coach we have!!!
Kuldeep after taking 8 wkts in the last test, dropped in this test
where spinners are dominating.
And continuing with shameless KL Rahul.— tammakrishnaswamy (@tammakrishna) December 24, 2022
Disappointed to watch a batsman of KL Rahul's potential struggling in this manner!! #BANvIND #BCCI
