Indian Cricket Team got a reality check in the ODI Series against Bangladesh. The Men in Blue weren’t able to win key moments of the match which hurt them. Skipper Rohit Sharma would be utterly disappointed with the team’s performance as the batters didn’t play according to their credentials.

Bangladesh on the other hand would be pumped up as defeating a full-fledged Indian side is never easy. The hosts would be aiming to white-wash the visitors and would like to go one step ahead as in 2015 they had won the ODI Series against India by 2-1.

Washington Sundar was seen attending the pre-match press conference and was asked about the match. “Great opportunity for me last game. The World Cup is next year, want to be a player who can play in any situation, any combination and wherever the team needs. I want to win the games for the team wherever asked me to play. I want to contribute my potential to the team, keep doing and getting better in every aspect of the game.” said Washington Sundar.

“Every game is an opportunity to get better. We are not playing a lot of games in the next 10 months so every game is an opportunity for us. We want to play good brand of cricket in any condition and situation, irrespective of whom we play. We will keep trying to improve in each game.” he added.

Great Chance for Bangladesh

The Bangladeshi Tigers would be aiming for a comprehensive win in the 3rd ODI. We should not forget that a lot of senior players have not performed according to their credentials. Skipper Litton Das himself would be hoping for a better performance.

Head Coach Rahul Dravid will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat as India’s batters are getting succumbed to pressure. All eyes would be on Shikhar Dhawan as the batter needs some runs under his belt to make a case for the ODI World Cup 2023.
