Indian Cricket Team wrapped up Bangladesh’s 1st innings for 150 runs and surprisingly didn’t enforce the follow-on. India got the lead of 254 runs where skipper KL Rahul & Shubman Gill were cautious in their approach. At the end of the morning session, India’s score was 36 runs for the loss of now wickets in 15 overs.
In the post-lunch session, Bangladesh got a massive blow as their speedster Ebadot Hossain was not available to bowl due to an injury. Once again, KL Rahul failed to convert a start as the batter was dismissed on 23 runs in 62 balls where he struck 3 fours.
Cheteshwar Pujara Hit By a Lethal Bouncer
Bangladesh’s speedster Khaled Ahmed applied short ball technique against batters and dismissed KL Rahul in that fashion. On the 4th bowl of the 27th over, Khaled bowled a dangerous short ball around the wicket to Pujara which hit him on his left shoulder. Pujara can be seen struggling against the short ball ploy and India’s score at the end of the over was 91-1 where Pujara had scored 2 runs in 14 balls and Gill’s score was 62 runs in 89 balls and India’s lead was 295.

Great Chance for Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill has notched up a half-century and is looking all set to get to the three-figure mark. The right-handed batter would be keen to make the most of the opportunity as he can make a case for himself at the top of the order. The batter so far has looked in sublime touch.
Bangladesh would be well aware of the fact that they are going to chase a mammoth target. The Bangladeshi Tigers need a flurry of wickets to give themselves an outside chance. It would be interesting to see whether India declares before the end of Day’s play to give the bowlers a crack at the opposition.
