Indian Cricket Team had a great start to Day 3 where the bowlers had reduced Bangladesh to 102-5. It was a collective effort from the Men in Blue. Virat Kohli had a rare off day in the field where the former skipper dropped two catches in the 44th over of the match.
Bangladesh’s opening batter Zakir Hasan continued his good run as the batter smashed a terrific knock of 51 runs in 135 balls where he smashed 5 fours and showed great mental application. The likes of Shakib & Rahim couldn’t make an impact that hurt the Bangladeshi Tigers.

Virat Kohli Claiming a Catch
At the end of 51 overs, Bangladesh’s score was 153-6 where the lead was 64 runs and slowly were building a partnership. Axar Patel was bowling the 52nd over and on the 6th ball the batter Nurul Hasan was seen defending and had a leading edge to the 1st slip, Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli was quite confident that he took the catch as the umpires referred it to the 3rd Umpire and it was seen clearly that the ball had bounced and then into the hands of Virat Kohli. Bangladesh’s score at 52 overs was 157-6 and the lead was 70 runs.

Crucial Phase for India
The Men in Blue would be well aware of the fact that chasing 150-odd runs won’t be easy on a sluggish track. The skipper KL Rahul should bring back a pace from one end where the pacers can rattle the opposition quiet. Axar Patel has been the pick of the bowlers where he has taken 2 wickets in 12 overs for 40 runs.
Bangladesh would be hoping that Litton Das plays a significant knock for the team. The Bangladeshi Tigers need to bat till the end of Day 3 as there’s ample time left in the Test Match. It won’t be wrong to say that the evening session would be quite decisive.
