In the ongoing Test match between India and Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Mohammed Siraj had a war of words with Bangladesh batter Nazmul Shanto.

The first Test of the two-match series between the KL Rahul-led India and Shakib Al Hasan-led Bangladesh is currently underway at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

On Day 4 of their ongoing first Test match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh will take on India, who are defending a target of 513 runs.

On Day 3, the hosts scored 42 for no loss at Stump’s, with Najmul Hossain Shanto (25*) and Zakir Hasan (17*) batting. The two will aim to forge solid cooperation and rebuild Bangladesh. India declared earlier on Day 3 after reaching 258 for two, adding to their first innings total of 404.

Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara were on fire and smacked hundreds, the latter remaining undefeated. Gill scored 110 runs from 152 balls, including ten fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, Pujara smashed an undefeated 102-run knockoff 130 balls, including 13 fours.

Day 4 of the ongoing first Test between Bangladesh and India at Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium finds Najmul Hossain Shanto and Zakir Hasan in fine form following each of their half-centuries. Bangladesh is cruising in its chase of 513 against India.

The sledging occurred during the 33rd over of Bangladesh’s innings. Mohammed Siraj directs his eyes onto Shanto, who prefers to turn away. Mohammed Siraj approached the batsman after that ball and whispered a few words to him. The exchange was not caught on the stump mic, but it appeared like Shanto did not want to respond to the Indian fast bowler.

India had declared their second innings at 258 for 2 with Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara scoring centuries. Earlier, India had posted 404 runs after KL Rahul had won the toss and decided to bat first. Later, the guests bundled out Bangladesh for 150, gaining a first-innings lead of 254. Kuldeep Yadav returned figures of 5 for 40.
