Rishabh Pant unleashed an attack against the opposition. At the end of 57 overs, India’s score was 202-4 and the batters were toying with the bowling unit. On the last ball of the 58th over, Rishabh Pant came down the track against Mehidy Hasan and hit a 100-meter six over long-on where the bowler was stunned. India’s score at the end of 58 overs was 215-4 where Rishabh Pant’s score was 84 runs whereas Shreyas Iyer was unbeaten on 49.

Crucial Session for Bangladesh

The hosts would be well aware of the fact that they cannot allow India to get a lead of 100 runs as the pitch has started to deteriorate. Skipper Shakib needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat as the bowlers look crestfallen. Bangladesh would be banking on Taskin Ahmed to break the partnership as the bowler earlier had got rid of Virat Kohli.

The Men in Blue would be hoping that the lower middle order sticks to the crease as a contribution of 50-odd runs would be invaluable. It would be interesting to see how the evening session pans out as most likely it would decide the fate of the Series.
