Indian Cricket Team suffered a humiliating defeat against Bangladesh in the 1st ODI. The Men in Blue would be dejected with their performance as they weren’t able to grab key moments of the match. The skipper Rohit Sharma’s tactics were quite questionable as the team was not able to pick up the last wicket when India had 51 runs to defend.

Bangladesh on the other hand power-packed would be booming with confidence as power packed Indian side is never easy. It looked as if Bangladesh was on a mission as during they didn’t give any freebies and made Indian batters work hard for every run.

Steep Road Ahead for India

During post match presentation, Rohit Sharma refused to blame the loss on the conditions. The skipper very well knows that one of the top order batter needs to play a long and effective innings as Bangladesh once again will introduce spin in the power-play overs to fox the batters. Shreyas Iyer needs to solve his short ball conundrum as the batter is quite pivotal to the setup.

All eyes would be on Shikhar Dhawan, as he needs to get a big score under his belt as still there is no assurance that he would be the opener for World Cup as KL Rahul is waiting in the wings. There are chances that Axar Patel may be available for selection as the all-rounder knows how to contain the batters. Bangladesh would be aware that India would come out all guns blazing as they would be eager to avoid another ODI series defeat in Bangladesh.
