Bangladesh National Cricket Team captain Litton Das dropped the catch of star India National Cricket Team batter, Virat Kohli, twice in the third match of the three-match ODI series.

The dead rubber third ODI between Litton Das-led Bangladesh and KL Rahul-led India is currently underway at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday, December 10. The Bangla Tigers have already sealed the series after winning the first two ODIs and they are eyeing a Banglawash.

Meanwhile, Kohli came out to bat in the 5th over after the dismissal of the 37-year-old opener Shikhar Dhawan, who registered his third single-digit score in the ongoing series.

On the third ball of the 7th over, which was bowled by in-form Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Virat Kohli played a lazy flick shot in the air and Litton Das, who grabbed a stunner to send back Kohli in the first ODI, dropped a sitter at short midwicket. Notably, the Bangladesh captain dropped Kohli’s catch when he was batting at the score of 1.

Meanwhile, Litton dropped Kohli’s catch for the second time on the second ball of the 19th over, which was bowled by left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman. The pacer bowled a fullish delivery and Kohli played a drive. The Bangladesh captain, who was at mid-off, dived to take a catch, but the third umpire told that the ball had clearly bounced and Kohli survived.

Sangakkara scored 1045 runs in Bangladesh at an average of 52.25 and a strike rate of 82.28, including 3 centuries and 10 fifties. At the time of writing, Kohli had scored 1031 ODI runs in Bangladesh in 18 innings at an average of 73.64 and a strike rate of 99.32, including 5 centuries and 3 half-centuries.
