India is set to face England in the one-off rescheduled Test from last year. The ENG vs IND 5th Test is set to take place at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. The Test match begins on July 1 (Friday). India is led by Rohit Sharma in the Test match. England is led by Ben Stokes.

India leads the series 2-1. Last year during England tour, India played 4 Tests against England. The visitors India won 2 games and lost 1. Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill might be the other opener for the team in ENG vs IND 5th Test. The right-handed batsman gave a good performance in the recent warm-up game. He scored 21 and 38 runs in both innings. He looks in good form and is highly expected to be one of the openers for India in the match.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli might take up the no.3 spot in ENG vs IND 5th Test match. The right-handed batsman is battling a poor form in Test for a long time. However, in the recent warm-up match, Kohli slammed a good knock of 67 runs in one innings and 33 in the other. Kohli returns to the field after rest and will aim to showcase his magical batting once again.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer might be a middle-order batsman for India. After the warm-up match, Iyer has a good chance to be picked ahead of Cheteshwar Pujara. The latter failed to bat well in the recent warm-up game, scoring 0 and 22 in two innings. On the other hand, Iyer slammed a 62-run knock in one inning. He also got out for a duck in the other.

Rishabh Pant (WK)

Rishabh Pant might be the wicketkeeper for India in ENG vs IND 2nd Test. The left-handed batsman slammed a good knock of 76 runs in the recent warm-up match against Leicestershire. The wicketkeeper batter played just one game and scored 76. Moreover, the other wicketkeeper in the squad Srikar Bharat is quite inexperienced. Hence, Pant is highly expected to keep the stumps for India in the match.

Hanuma Vihari

Hanuma Vihari might be another middle-order batter for the team in the match. Vihari is a Test specialist batsman for India. He has performed well in the previous Test series against Sri Lanka and South Africa earlier this year. In the warm-up match, the right-handed batsman scored 3, 20, and 26 in the three innings he batted.

Jadeja scalped 4 wickets in the match. He also smacked 13 and unbeaten 56 in two innings. Jadeja looks in great touch and might be part of the playing XI.
