ENG vs IND: People Can Only Dream About What You've Done In Cricket - Kevin Pietersen To Virat Kohli
Former England batter Kevin Pietersen came to the defence of Virat Kohli, stating that the 33-year-old will get through the tough phase eventually and come back.
Kohli’s dry patch continues in the ongoing white-ball series against England. He managed to get starts in a couple of games but failed to carry on and fell while fishing around off-stump.
Following the failures, Pietersen said that Kohli will be back to his best in no time.
“Buddy, your career has had some of the best that have played the game only wish they could have done what you have(so far). Be proud, walk tall & enjoy life. There’s way more than just the bubble of cricket out there. You’ll be back, @virat.kohli” Pietersen captioned an Instagram post.
He also mentioned later that Kohli’s cricketing career is something other greats haven’t able to achieve.
“You go big guy! People can only dream about what you’ve done in cricket. And they’re some of the best players that have played the game,” he also tweeted later.
