IND vs ENG: Tired Of Reading English Press Talk Crap About Virat Kohli - Former West Indian Cricketer Tino Best
Former West Indian pacer Tino Best came to the defence of Indian batter, Virat Kohli, after a recent incident during the fifth Test in Edgbaston caught the eye of social media.
Kohli was pictured celebrating wildly on the pitch with several users berating the 33-year-old for his antics. A known cricket reporter, George Dobell, also shared a picture of the same with the captain: “An interesting place to celebrate the wicket of Alex Lees…”
In response, Best retorted at the media, the British ones in particular, that generally have a dislike towards Kohli.
“Bro y’all Reaching Now FFS ??♂️, …… anyone who’s BOLD and brown or black y’all always got a Dammmm problem with anyone who challenges y’all its an issue, I’m tired ? of reading the English press talk crap about Virat or any player who isn’t English,” Best wrote.

“Virat is a modern-day icon” – Tino Best
Best also claimed Kohli to be a modern-day icon, one who is often credited to a certain degree with keeping Test cricket alive.
“For sure George you’re a real one but the others alway reaching from the English commentators etc etc , tell your mate that Virat isn’t a thug he’s a modern day Icon simple ……. But then again he isn’t English so we would get these types of Articles make them Grovel,” he also added.

India recently lost the fifth Test by 7 wickets after England recorded their best-ever run chase in Test history. They managed to score 379 with Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow scoring respective centuries.
Kohli got starts in both innings but fell soon after, extending his horrible patch across formats. Although he was unlucky in the second stint, the first innings dismissal didn’t do him any favours.
