The 27-year-old batter Deepak Hooda was not included in the India National Cricket Team playing XI in the second game of the three-match T20I series against the Jos Buttler-led England National Cricket Team at the Edgbaston, Birmingham on Saturday, July 9.

The right-handed batsman Hooda, who can occasionally bowl right-arm off-spin, has been in terrific form in recent times. In the T20 International (T20I) games he has played for the India National Cricket Team he has done an outstanding job by scoring runs at a brilliant strike rate.
