Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali then formed a good partnership in the middle before Jadeja removed Ali. Buttler though completed his half-century, his first as full-time England captain.

Liam Livingstone was providing good help from the other end. Still, in what has turned into an ego battle between Livingstone and Pandya, Livingstone got out to short ball yet again after dismissing Pandya for a six in the same over. Jadeja took a fine catch on the boundary.

In the same way, Pandya accounted for Buttler who also tried to pull Pandya hard but all he could do was mistime the shot. Jadeja’s anticipation was as brilliant as it could get as he ran towards the ball as soon as it left Buttler’s bat. Jadeja completed a fine catch and ended Buttler’s knock of 60.
