Indian captain and all-rounder Hardik Pandya said on Wednesday that while the team is dissatisfied with their semifinal result in the recently ended ICC T20 World Cup, it must deal with it and that the roadmap for the next event begins now.
The first Twenty20 International (T20I) between India and New Zealand will be played on Friday in Wellington. Hardik will captain the team in the absence of veteran players such as KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma.

Looking To Get Better And Rectify The Mistakes We Made: Hardik Pandya
“There is a disappointment of the T20 World Cup, but we are professionals. We need to cope with it the way we cope with our success and move forward, look to get better and rectify the mistakes we made,” said Hardik Pandya to media ahead of the first match.
The roadmap for the T20 World Cup 2024 has begun, according to Hardik, but the team’s priority right now is to enjoy its cricket in New Zealand.
According to the all-rounder, New Zealand has been a fantastic team over the years.

“They have always put on a show and challenge you as a team,” he added.
According to Hardik, the series will be an excellent opportunity for young players to prove their value in the club and give some outstanding performances.
Men in Blue will be training at Wellington’s Basin Reserve from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.
Following the World T20 in Australia, India will visit New Zealand for a white-ball series consisting of three T20Is and as many ODIs. The series will take place from November 18 to 30, with New Zealand returning to India for a white-ball series in January of next year.
