Team India have won the toss against South Africa in the third ODI of the series and elected to bowl first at the Newlands Stadium in Capetown. South Africa have already won the series claiming the first couple of games in the series in a scintillating fashion. While the Proteas won the first ODI 31 runs, they clinched the second game of the series by 7 wickets.

KL Rahul’s captaincy has been under massive scrutiny after team India’s performances in the first couple of games of the series. Rohit Sharma was slated to lead team India but he was ruled out of the entire tour and hence, KL Rahul was appointed the captain of the side for the limited-overs series.

Both the teams might come in with a handful of changes going into the final game of the series. While the hosts have already won the series, team India have nothing to lose from hereon and hence, they might come up with a few changes in the first XI. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who has done well in the Indian domestic circuit might find a place in the eleven and so can Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Deepak Chahar.
