The third match of the five-match T20I series between Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and Nicholas Pooran-led West Indies National Cricket Team will take place at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts on Tuesday, August 2 and the start time of the match has been revised.
Notably, the second T20I match of the series was set to start at 8 pm. However, there was a long delay of 3 hours due to the late arrival of team luggage and the game began at 11 pm IST.

West Indies National Cricket Team won the second T20I of the series by 5 wickets with 4 balls remaining after they chased down the 139 runs target to level the series against India National Cricket Team.
West Indies left-arm pacer Obed McCoy was awarded Player of the Match for his sensational six-wicket haul. The West Indies left-arm pacer dismissed Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Ravichandran Ashwin.
90 Minutes Delay In 3rd India vs West Indies T20I
The third T20I game of the series, which was originally set to start at 8 pm IST, will now begin after a delay of 90 minutes to provide adequate turnaround time for both sides. The match is set to begin at 9:30 pm IST.
The decision has been taken to ensure that the players of both sides receive adequate rest and recovery time. Also, both the teams have agreed to commence the third T20I at a later time.
“Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirmed a revised start time of 12 pm (11am Jamaica/9:30pm India) for the third match between West Indies and India in the Goldmedal T20I Cup, powered by Kent Water Purifiers to be played at Warner Park in St Kitts on Tuesday 2nd August,” Cricket West Indies (CWI) said in an official media release.
“Following the delayed start on Monday, the teams have agreed to start the third Goldmedal T20 Cup match at a later time to ensure that the players receive adequate rest and recover time for the back-to-back matches in St Kitts and in consideration of the back-to-back matches to come in Florida,” the statement added.
