Dinesh Karthik improved his chances of being selected for the T20 World Cup 2022 with his 19-ball 41 against the West Indies in the first T20I. As per a BCCI selector, Karthik has indeed secured his spot in the Indian team for the world cup.

Karthik’s international career appeared to be almost finished up to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. However, the seasoned wicketkeeper-batsman now appears to have solidified his position as India’s top “finisher” in T20 cricket.
