In the absence of Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer stepped up with two back-to-back half centuries in the first two ODIs. He has been in good form throughout the series and made of his opportunity. Sanju Samson in the absence of Rishabh Pant took his opportunity in the second ODI as did Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel. All eyes will be on these four players to replicate their form in the final ODI. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan has managed his troops very well as well.

The hosts have played a lot better in this ODI series than they did against Bangladesh. They have been competitive with the bat and the ball as well. Shai Hope has been their talisman run-scorer in the ODIS. Skipper Nicholas Pooran found some good form as well. Their batting stood up in both the games but their inexperienced bowling attack has cost them the first two ODIs. West Indies will be itching to win the final ODI and head into the T20I series, their more friendly format, with some good confidence.
