Rain has interrupted the play between India National Cricket Team and West Indies National Cricket at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad on Wednesday, July 27 and the 3rd ODI game has started losing the overs.

India have already won the three-match ODI series against West Indies by winning the thriller first ODI by 3 runs as pacer Mohammed Siraj defended 15 runs in the last over. In the second ODI, Axar Patel’s batting brilliance helped India seal the nail-biting game by 2 wickets.

Meanwhile, India won the toss and opted to bat first in the 3rd match. They made a sole change to the playing XI as right-arm pacer Prasidh Krishna replaced right-arm pacer Avesh Khan.

On the other hand, West Indies National Cricket Team made three changes to the playing XI as Jason Holder, Keemo Paul, and Keacy Carty replaced Alzarri Joseph, Rovman Powell and Romario Shepherd.

The surface at the Queen’s Park Oval was comparatively slower in the 3rd ODI. The opening duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill once again looked good together and they started off cautiously. They added 50 runs in 67 balls and 100 runs in 119 balls.

Leg-spinner Hayden Walsh got the first breakthrough for West Indies in the 23rd over as he dismissed veteran opener, Dhawan, on the 5th ball of the over. The 36-year-old was able to score 58 runs off 74 balls, including 7 four.

India were able to bat for 24 overs in the third ODI before the weather played its part and rain forced to stop the play. India were able to post 115/1 on the board with Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer unbeaten at the crease.

The weather condition in the Port of Spain looks bleak and if India National Cricket Team do not get a chance to bat again then West Indies will be provided with a target with the help of the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS) calculations.

Here Are The Targets For West Indies National Cricket Team If India National Cricket Team No Longer Bat In The 3rd ODI Due To Rain:

191 in 24 overs

186 in 23 overs

180 in 22 overs

174 in 21 overs

168 in 20 overs
