Four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) haven’t shown a promising start in IPL 2022 under new skipper Ravindra Jadeja. Just ahead of the season, veteran player MS Dhoni announced to quit IPL captaincy and handed the baton to Jadeja.
CSK lost their first four games in a row before they defeated rivals Royal Challengers Bangalore by 23 runs to clinch their first win of the tournament. Jadeja and his men edged out another arch-rival Mumbai Indians after MS Dhoni’s top-notch finish.
CSK needed 16 runs in four balls to win, Dhoni smashed Mumbai Indians pacer Jaydev Unadkat 6,4,2,4 to turn the game in the Yellow Army’s corner.
