Virender Sehwag, a former India player, has expressed his disappointment that CSK’s Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) owing to a rib injury.
Sehwag revealed on Cricbuzz ahead of CSK’s forthcoming match against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday, May 15, that he has been suffering since Jadeja departed from the IPL 2022. The talismanic all-rounder had an up-and-down season in this year’s cash-rich Bundesliga.

He was named the team’s new captain two days before the event started. He gave up the leadership after only eight games to concentrate on his game.
Sehwag stated that he does not anticipate CSK to make many adjustments in their starting Xi for their final two games. He stated that MS Dhoni doesn’t engage in switching up lineups, hence they are unwilling to alter their team for the remaining games.

“Since Ravindra Jadeja’s departure, I’ve been in a foul mood. CSK will only play new players in their last games if they believe they can contribute significantly next year. However, I haven’t seen MS Dhoni do that very often, so the chances are slim.”
‘The forthcoming match is crucial for both CSK and GT’: Virender Sehwag
The defending champions, according to Virender Sehwag, would not like to end as wooden spooners. He believes the MS Dhoni-led squad would try to save face by winning their final two games in the IPL 2022.
Speaking on GT, Though they have successfully qualified for the playoffs, he believes they must continue to play good cricket to finish in the top two.

“The match is crucial for both teams, as CSK will want to avoid finishing last. GT has been playing excellent cricket and would want to keep it up. They’ll be aiming for a top-two finish,” Virender Sehwag Said.
On the 15th of May, the Chennai Super Kings will face the Gujarat Titans at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
