DC vs PBKS: Watch - David Warner Does "Pushparaj Thaggedele" Step To Celebrate Win vs PBKS

Delhi Capitals (DC) opener David Warner did the famous “Pushparaj Thaggedele” step in order to celebrate his side’s victory over Punjab Kings on Wednesday.

DC bowled first and restricted PBKS to 115 in their 20-over quota. The spinners did a great job for Delhi as they picked 6 wickets in total and conceded only 45 runs in ten overs.

Prithvi Shaw and Warner then went on to put an 83-run stand for the opening wicket to all but kill PBKS’ hopes. Eventually, they managed to reach the target with as many as 57 balls to spare.

Following the victory, Warner followed the trend and did the “Pushparaj Thaggedele” step to celebrate the win. He finished on 60 off 30 balls including ten fours and a solitary six.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Warner credited the bowlers for setting up the team for success. Warner and co. managed to chase it down in 10.3 overs with nine wickets to spare.

I think the bowlers did a fantastic job and made it easier for us. We had to go hard in the powerplay during the chase. It was a different surface compared to the last night, but credit to our bowlers,” Warner said at the post-match presentation.

Was grateful that we were able to get out of our rooms and play tonight. I was just trying to be positive and am happy to have played with Shaw… For me, it’s about sticking to the basics and I tried to put my best footwork forward,” he further added.
