Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, RCB Playing 11 vs DC (Predicted), IPL 2022, Match 27, DC vs RCB. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will face each other in an IPL 2022 match on Saturday (April 16) at 7.30 PM IST and their goals from this match are rather intertwined.

SRH vs KKR Dream11 Prediction

A win will help RCB re-enter the top four spot in the points table with 8 points and on the other hand, DC can join the race for the top four positions with 6 points, if they win this match. In fact, both these teams are coming from two high-scoring matches. The Delhi Capitals hammered Kolkata Knight Riders after posting a 200+ total in their last match, unlike the Bangalore side who could not chase down a 200+ target set for them by the Chennai Super Kings.

So far in the ongoing IPL 2022, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have won three of their five games. The absence of pacer Harshal Patel was felt heavily in the game against CSK, but the team should not dwell on the loss too much since T20 cricket is an unpredictable game.

Even though the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s other batsman, Suyash Prabhudessai, performed an outstanding job with the bat, the team’s bowlers seemed completely lost without Harshal Patel in their ranks. Now that Harshal Patel has been released from quarantine and Josh Hazlewood has been declared eligible for the remainder of the tournament, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be fielding a full-strength playing 11 for the first time this season.

Delhi Capitals posted a massive score of 215 runs against KKR with their openers Prithvi Shaw (51 runs) and David Warner (61 runs) setting the tone of the match. Rishabh Pant (27 runs), Axar Patel (22 runs), and Shardul Thakur (29 runs) took on the bowlers to carry forward the momentum from the top 3.

Delhi Capitals’ middle-order needs to slightly re-jig with Lalit Yadav and Rovman Powell, not scoring runs consistently. Delhi Capitals’ pacers Shardul Thakur, Mustafizur Rahman, and Khaleel Ahmed shared 5 wickets among themselves against KKR and have formed a formidable trio for the team.

Kuldeep Yadav is having a dream comeback this season with 10 wickets in 4 matches including a Man of the Match performance of 4/20 in the last game against KKR. Spinner Axar Patel is yet to take a wicket so far and they might be tempted to include Anrich Nortje depending on the conditions on offer.

RCB’s top-3 failed to get going in the massive chase of 217 runs against CSK last night. Their middle-order batters Glenn Maxwell (26 runs), Shahbaz Ahmed (43 runs), Suyash Prabhudessai (34 runs), and Dinesh Karthik (34 runs) scored runs at a strike rate of 200+ to keep their team in the hunt but they ended up with 193/9 to lose the match by 23 runs.

He was retained ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction for INR 15 crores. He scored 48 against Mumbai and is the team’s 5th highest run-getter this season with 107 runs averaging a mere 26.75 which doesn’t depict a good picture going by Virat Kohli’s caliber and credentials.

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik, the man who was responsible for India’s incredible win against Bangladesh in the Nidahas Trophy final, will be donning the RCB jersey for the second time. An incredibly fine wicket-keeper and a decent striker of the ball, Dinesh Karthik is a veteran of more than 200 IPL games.

Royal Challengers Bangalore wrested him from the jaws of Chennai Super Kings after an intense bidding war for Rs 5.50 crore. The 31-year-old pacer opted out of the bio bubble and didn’t play against CSK. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pace bowler Harshal Patel has reportedly left the IPL bio-bubble following the death of a family member-his sister. RCB missed him in the game against CSK, which they lost but he may play against Delhi Capitals.
