Gujarat Titans (GT) will play their opening game of IPL 2022 against Lucknow Super Giants. The clash will take place on March 28 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Gujarat Titans is a new team in IPL 2022.
Gujarat Titans will play a total of 14 matches during the league stage of IPL 2022. The team will be led by Hardik Pandya. Ahead of IPL 2022 auction, the franchise picked three drafts players in their squad. There were Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill.

During the auction, GT picked a total of 10 players in its squad. Lockie Ferguson was the costliest player for the team at Rs. 10 crores. Mohammad Shami, Jason Roy, Rahul Tewatia, and Alzarri Joseph were some other key players that GT picked in their squad during the auction.
