GT vs CSK: Credit Goes To David Miller, He Played Good Cricketing Shots - Ravindra Jadeja

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Ravindra Jadeja praised Gujarat Titans (GT) batter, David Miller after the latter played a stupendous knock of 94* to take GT over the line on Sunday.
After being set a target of 170 courtesy of a fighting 73 from Ruturaj Gaikwad, Gujarat lost two wickets inside the first two overs. They didn’t have their top-scorer and skipper, Hardik Pandya, who was sidelined due to an injury.
However, the Proteas batter, Miller, finally turned up in this edition and alongside the stand-in captain, Rashid Khan, stitched the game-winning partnership.

13 runs were needed off the final over bowled by Chris Jordan and Miller single-handedly scored the runs and subjected CSK to their 5th defeat of the IPL 2022 season.
“We started brilliantly. The first six overs were good as a bowling unit, but credit goes to Miller, played some good cricket shots. When we were batting, the wicket was gripping and the ball was holding so we thought 169 was a par score.”

“But we didn’t execute our plans in the last five. (20th over) I think CJ is experienced so I thought let me go with him. He can bowl 4-5 yorkers. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen today, that’s the beauty of T20 cricket,” Jadeja said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
With the loss, CSK’s playoff hopes took a major hit and they continue languishing in the 9th place. As for Gujarat, they sit comfortably at the top of the table with 5 wins in 6 matches.
Final Scores:
CSK – 169/5 in 20 overs
GT – 170/7 in 19.5 overs
