GT vs DC: "We'd Like To Bat..Ohh..Bowl First": Watch - Rishabh Pant Fumbles At Toss

Delhi Capitals are taking on Gujarat Titans in match 10 of IPL 2022 at the MCA stadium in Pune. Both teams won their first games of the season and would like to continue the momentum. The Capitals are led by Rishabh Pant while the Titans are led by Hardik Pandya who has impressed one and all with his leadership skills so far. 

This is just the second game at this venue while the other three venues have had more matches. Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant called the coin right but fumbled while deciding what to do first. That brought out a laugh from his opposition skipper as well.

Rishabh Pant Wins The Toss, Opts To Field First

He first said that he would like to bat but then corrected himself by saying that he would like to bowl first. Chasing has been the norm of this IPL so far with scores of over 200 also being chased down. Lucknow Supergiants gave an evident example of the same against CSK in their previous game. 

 “We would like to bat ohhh bowl first! We have a different bowling line-up so we will bowl. We felt comfortable chasing after the first game. One change. Nagarkoti out, Fizz in” said Pant at the toss.

Talking about the toss, Titans skipper Hardik Pandya also said that he wanted to bat first as well. He further said that he is not expecting dew to play a part in this game.

 “To be honest we were going to bat. There is a breeze, so we don’t expect dew. We trained here and we didn’t see much of dew, which is the reason why we wanted to bat. Same team.” said Pandya
