Gujarat Titans (GT) Full Squad After IPL Auction 2022

During IPL 2022 auction, Gujarat Titans bought a total of 20 players in their squad. Some of the key players that the team picked during the auction were Mohammed Shami, Jason Roy, and Lockie Ferguson. Lockie Ferguson was the team’s top pick in IPL 2022 auction at Rs. 10 crores.

Gujarat Titans arrived in IPL auction 2021 with a salary purse of Rs. 52 crores. The team earlier picked 3 drafts players in the squad in the form of Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill. While Pandya and Khan were paid Rs. 15 crores each, Shubman Gill was signed at Rs. 8 crores.

Gujarat Titans, which is one of the two new teams in IPL 2022, is owned by CVC Capitals. The group won the rights of the team after bidding an amount of more than Rs. 5000 crores. Earlier, CVC Capitals faced some issues due to its alleged links to betting companies. However, BCCI gave them a clean chit after an investigation, and the owners were allowed to form the team.
