With his fantastic run for Sunrisers Hyderabad this year, Umran Malik has always been the focus of this debate. West Indies legend Ian Bishop, on the other hand, has added two more names to the list, calling one of them a “terrific” bowler.

Bishop praised Mohsin Khan of the Lucknow Super Giants, who took four wickets for 16 runs in the team’s win over the Lucknow Super Giants in Mumbai on Sunday.

Apart from Mohsin, Bishop also mentioned Kuldeep Sen of the Rajasthan Royals as a bowler India might approach for the next series.

Ian Bishop puts out a tweet praising Mohsin Khan:

“Mohsin Khan is terrific. He should be front and center along with Umran Malik and a bit later on Kuldeep Sen, when INDIA sit to pick teams for international cricket post #TATAIPL2022,” tweeted Ian Bishop after the game.

The crucial dismissals of David Warner (3), skipper Rishabh Pant (44), and Rovman Powell (35) by Mohsin allowed Lucknow to reduce Delhi to 189-7 and won by six runs.

Warner was caught at mid-wicket by Mohsin, a young left-arm fast from Uttar Pradesh. He then dismissed Pant for a half-century, denying the Delhi captain a century. He went on to win the Man of the Match award after dismissing the dangerous Powell and Shardul Thakur in his penultimate over.

Lucknow Super Giants defeated Delhi Capitals by 6 runs to win their seventh game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 and move to second place in the points chart.
