IPL 2022 Auction: 5 South African Players Who Might Go Unsold In Mega Auction
5. Wayne Parnell
Wayne Parnell is the first player on this list. The left-arm pacer has kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh for himself. Last year during IPL 2021 auction, he went unsold at the base price of Rs. 50 lakh.
He last played a T20I game for South Africa long back in 2017. Hence, Wayne Parnell is not a popular national player for the side in the shortest format. Like the last year, he might again go unsold in IPL 2022 auction.

Andile Phehlukwayo has kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh for himself. The South Africa all-rounder was also part of the last year’s auction but could not find a buyer. He went unsold at his base price of Rs. 50 lakh.
Although he often gets a chance to play for the national side in T20Is, he is not a very powerful all-rounder. Hence, franchises might shy away from bidding for Phehlukwayo during the auction.
3. Sisanda Magala
Sisanda Magala is another player on this list. The South African player has set a base price of Rs. 50 lakh for himself. This is the first time he is taking part in the auction. The right-arm pacer has only played 3 ODIs and 4 T20Is for South Africa so far.
The 31-year-old has very little international experience and is not a regular member of the national team. Hence, franchises might not be interested to pick him during IPL 2022 auction.
