IPL 2022 auction is set to take place on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. BCCI and IPL committee are gearing up for the mega event which will witness exciting bidding wars among all the 10 franchises. A total of 1,214 players have registered themselves for IPL 2022 auction. These include 896 Indian players and 318 overseas players. Many of these will be removed from the final list.
A total of 33 players have been retained by the 10 franchises so far and many others will go under the hammer during IPL 2022 mega auction. Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stonis are the only two Australian players who have been retained by franchises in their squads for IPL 2022.
