The IPL 2022 season came to an end with the Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans winning the title in their very first season. Hardik ended up being the Man of the Match in the final owing to his three wickets with the ball and his unbeaten knock with the bat.

Several Indian players impressed one and all with their performances in the IPL. They have made a case for themselves to be selected in the upcoming fixtures and also the T20 World Cup.

Buttler top-scored for the season as he ended with 863 runs from 17 matches with four centuries to his name. He ranks second in the all-time run-getters in a single season in the IPL after Virat Kohli’s 973 in 2016. Buttler hit 83 fours and 45 sixes in IPL 2022, the most by any this year.

Quinton de Kock

De Kock had another 500-plus season in the IPL He opened for Lucknow Super Giants and alongside KL Rahul’s 616. he was his team’s second-highest run-getter. The southpaw can take the gloves for this XI.

David Miller

Miller was Gujarat Titans’ designated finisher for the season, In him, they have found an able finisher for a few more seasons. This was the best season for the southpaw since IPL 2015. Miller ended the season with 481 runs from 6 games. He spoke very vocally about the trust and the faith shown by the management this year.

Liam Livingstone

Keeping in mind, the impact he has in this IPL, Liam Livingstone can be the perfect number four in this lineup. He batted at number four mostly for the Punjab Kings scoring 437 runs which included 34 sixes in the season. He has also bowled a few good overs and taken key wickets.

Tim David

The Australian cricketer did not play all the games for Mumbai Indians. However, in the few games that he played, he gave a glimpse of his power-hitting. This might well bring him into contention for getting picked in Australia’s T20 World Cup squad later this year.

Andre Russell

Russell had another good all-round season for KKR. He scored 335 runs and picked up 17 wickets this year. He finished third in the list of MVP players with 281 points from 14 games.

Sunil Narine

Narine can slot in at number seven in this lineup. He did not pick many wickets this year but bowled with an immaculate economy rate. In fact, he bowled with an economy of 5.57, the best this season. Narine finished with nine wickets.

Rashid Khan

The Afghan spinner ended his season with 19 wickets at an economy of 6.59. Given his prowess with the bat lower down the order, he can be the perfect number 8 in this line-up.

Wanindu Hasaranga

The Sri Lanka spinner finished the season as the second-highest wicket-taker with 26 scalps to his name. He was heading the list until Chahal overtook him in the final. He bowled with an economy of under 8 throughout the season.

Hazlewood was one of the big positives with the ball for RCB who had an under-par season once again. They reached the knockouts but lost out in the second qualifier to Rajasthan Royals. He ended IPL 2022 season with 20 wickets.

Lockie Ferguson

The Kiwi pacer ends the best Overseas XI of the season lineup. He ended up bowling the fastest delivery of the season clocking a speed of 157.3 kph in the final. The express pacer ended the season with 12 wickets for the Gujarat Titans.
