Star England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler, who is part of Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has expressed disappointment at his performance in the last few games of the IPL 2022.

Buttler started off his campaign with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 exceptionally well by smashing back-to-back centuries and half-centuries. However, in the second half of the tournament, he has struggled for runs. In the last 3 outings, he has registered scores of 2, 2, and 7.

While talking about his run in the IPL 2022, Buttler said that he has been delighted with his form. He added that he will take confidence from his batting performance in the first half of the tournament while going into the IPL playoffs.

“I’ve obviously been delighted with my form in the IPL, but a bit disappointed with the last few games. The first half (of the tournament).

“I was playing some of the best cricket I’ve ever played, and I’m still taking lots of confidence from that going into the playoffs,” said the 31-year-old Buttler ahead of RR’s first qualifier against Gujarat Titans.

Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) will be played between Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) and Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Tuesday, May 24.
