Mumbai Indians ended up at the bottom spot in the IPL 2022 points table with only four successes and 10 losses. The Mumbai-based franchise was tormented by injuries, irregularities, and consistent changes in the 11.

Not An Ideal Season For MI: Daniel Sams

Speaking on the team’s performance, Sams said, “I think it (has) not been the most ideal season. I actually see it as a necessary season for myself, for everyone to become better cricketers, better people.

“We haven’t quite performed the way we wanted to, but we’re excited with what’s to come next year. A lot of us in this squad have had to learn and deal with a lot of stuff because of the way that we have performed.”

Mumbai Indians signed off their season on a high as they not just crushed Delhi Capitals in their last league encounter, furthermore, knocked Delhi out of the playoff games race.
