Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore was gracious enough to laugh about his poor form in IPL 2022, claiming that he had never been in a circumstance where he was out for first-ball ducks more than once until the current season.
Kohli has been bowled three times for golden ducks, the highest in an IPL season. Kohli is the only player in IPL history to have six golden ducks.

Kohli had only three first-ball ducks in the first 14 years of the league, but this season he has three – two against SunRisers Hyderabad and one against Lucknow Super Giants.
Kohli was recently removed for 0 against SRH in RCB’s latest game. The former captain was bowled by left-arm spinner Jagadeesa Suchith, who chipped one straight to Kane Williamson at short midwicket.

Despite Kohli’s failure to disturb the scorers, RCB went on to thrash SRH and stay in the top four of the IPL 2022 points standings. Kohli, in particular, suffered back-to-back golden ducks when he was bowled by Marco Jansen in their first match against SRH, just days after being dismissed by LSG’s Dushmantha Chameera.
Kohli walked back to the dressing room with a wry smirk on his face after nudging Jansen to the slips.
‘It hasn’t happened to me ever in my career’: Virat Kohli
Kohli stated that he is unconcerned about what analysts and critics. have to say about his performance and that he watches TV on mute to avoid “outside noise.”
“Ducks on the first ball. After the second one (duck), I understood what it’s like to be you (Mr. Nags’ character), completely helpless. I don’t believe it has ever occurred to me in my career. Now I’ve seen everything. It’s been so long, and I’ve seen all there is to see in this game “Kohli stated in a lighthearted interview with RCB Insider’s Danish Sait.
Kohli has had one of the most difficult periods in his career, scoring 194 runs at an average of 19.64 in 12 matches.
