IPL 2022: Krunal Pandya Will Be Laughing At Me When I Go For The Toss With KL Rahul – Gujarat Titans Captain Hardik Pandya On The Clash vs Lucknow Super Giants

Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is all set to lead Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, has opened up on the clash against KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the team where his brother Krunal Pandya will be present.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is all set to begin from March 26 and all the games of the league stage will be played in Maharashtra across 4 different venues including Wankhede Stadium, Dy Patil Stadium, Brabourne Stadium and Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

The Indian Premier League 2022 will be a 10-team tournament with the addition of two new teams; Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Gujarat Titans acquired the services of Hardik Pandya, who was released by Mumbai Indians, ahead of the auction for INR 15 crore and he has been given the captaincy responsibility. Also, the other new franchise, Lucknow Super Giants, bought KL Rahul ahead of the auction for INR 17 crore and named him as skipper.

Meanwhile, former Mumbai Indians player, Krunal was picked by Lucknow for INR 8.25 crores at the Indian Premier League 2022 mega auction in Bengaluru.

The Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants will go head-to-head at the Wankhede Stadium on March 28. Talking about the match, during an interview with the IPL website, Hardik said that going for the toss with his close friend Rahul will be fun and he mentioned that his brother Krunal will definitely laugh at him when he goes for the toss for the first time.

“It will be fun. The first toss will be fun because KL and myself will be going for the toss and I’m sure Krunal will be standing on the side and will be laughing at me because he has never seen me do this. It will be two boys against one, but it’s okay, I’ve got my Gujarat Titans,” he said.

“We need all the love and support possible. We will keep giving our best, entertain everyone and make Gujarat people proud,” he said while talking about the fans of Gujarat Titans.
