Former BCCI chief selector Kris Srikkanth has blown up at the umpiring howlers in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. On Tuesday (April 19), during the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Josh Hazlewood got away with a wide ball and it left the cricket fraternity in shock. The Australian fast bowler bowled the ball way outside the tramline yet the umpire didn’t raise his arms to call it a wide ball.

On-strike batter Marcus Stoinis was clearly disappointed with the choice as this episode occurred in the penultimate over the game.
