The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will sport a green jersey during their IPL (2022) match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on May 8 at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. RCB are currently on 6 wins from 11 matches and needs to win all three of their matches for playoffs qualification.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have had a mixed bag of seasons thus far. They recently defeated the Chennai Super Kings to end their three-match losing streak and will look to avenge their humiliation against SRH as they were bowled out for 68 runs when these two teams clashed earlier in the IPL 2022.

After a five-match winning streak, the Sunrisers have slumped to three losses on the trot due to a variety of reasons, including injuries to their frontline bowlers. They sit sixth on the points table.
RCB To Sport Green Colored Jerseys Against SRH For Their ‘Go-Green’ Initiative
In order to promote green initiatives and environmental sustainability, Royal Challengers Bangalore will sport a new green-themed jersey in their upcoming IPL 2022 encounter with Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 8 at the Wankhede Stadium.
The Royal Challengers had started this initiative way back in 2011 and this will mark the 12th year of the venture which has attracted a lot of accolades from all quarters.

In fact, the RCB is the only IPL team that promotes greenhouse through the jersey. It may be recalled that the RCB players once cycled to team hotel to M Chinnaswamy Stadium for an IPL match, shunning the team bus.
Taking to Twitter, RCB wrote: “From Red to Green, our boys are ready to #PlayBold for a cause. How do you like our Green jersey, 12th Man Army?”
