PBKS vs RR

In the first game of the day, Punjab Kings batted first winning the toss. Jonny Bairstow opened the innings and scored a 50. Punjab started well but lost its way in the middle. But a partnership of 50+ in the slog overs between Jitesh Sharma and Liam Livingstone took Punjab’s total to 189. Yuzvendra Chahal was once again the pick of the bowlers for RR as he picked up 3 for 28 in his 4 overs.

Sanju Samson played a little cameo but got out for just 23 off 12 balls. Devdutt Padikkal who came into bat at 4 could not get going at all as he scored 31 runs off 31 balls.
