IPL 2022: Watch - MS Dhoni Slams A Massive One-Handed Six During CSK Camp In Surat

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) MS Dhoni has gotten down to business as he prepares to defend his Indian Premier League (IPL) title with the IPL 2022 slated to begin from March 26. The CSK team will face off against Shreyas Iyer’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Wankhede Stadium in the opening match.
Meanwhile, CSK has set up camp at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, given that it has pitches made up of the same soil that is used in Mumbai stadiums as well. CSK is undergoing a 20-day pre-IPL camp to gear up for the 15th season of the league. The contingent of the yellow army includes 25-30 players, support staff, medical staff, members of CSK management
Most of the Chennai Super Kings players are part of the camp, except Deepak Chahar, who is nursing a hamstring injury and may miss the first half of the tournament.

MS Dhoni Sends One Ball Into Orbit During Nets In Surat
Ahead of the IPL 2022 tournament, CSK skipper MSDhoni was seen hitting some big shots in the nets session. In a video that has been released on social media, the legendary CSK player is seen hitting 3 massive shots, with the third one a one-handed shot that sailed a long way.
Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Moeen Ali were the four talents that the four-time and currently defending IPL champions retained before the IPL 2022 auction.

The CSK team management managed to buy back most of their first-choice players in the IPL 2022 mega auction except Faf du Plessis. They spent big money on buying back Deepak Chahar, who they got for INR 14 crores. Their other expensive buys were Ambati Rayudu (INR 6.75 crs), Shivam Dube (INR 4 crs), Chris Jordan (INR 3.60 crs), and Dwayne Bravo (INR 4.40 crs).
The CSK team has been placed in group B along with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans. They will face Mumbai Indians twice during their group stages to provide riveting action to all the fans.
