Arshdeep Singh, a bowler for the Punjab Kings, says the team’s goal for the rest of the tournament is to win every game.

In the IPL 2022, Arshdeep Singh wowed all of us with his bowling. In eight games this season, the left-arm bowler got three wickets and bowled incredibly well at the death to help his team win.

However, some statistics alone do not provide a whole picture. Many people may believe Arshdeep hasn’t been up to par this year because he hasn’t taken many wickets.

In T20 cricket, however, every delivery is an event, and winning every ball is crucial, particularly for a bowler with only 24 deliveries to make an impression.

So, despite his inability to pick wickets, Arshdeep has maintained to make an impression with the ball.

Arshdeep has been bowling at a below-average economy rate. He had a 5.66 economy rate at the time of his death, which was better than the majority of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Kagiso Rabada.

‘We will give our 100% effort going forward; Arshdeep Singh

The Punjab Kings have eight points after four victories in league matches, with five games remaining. They are presently in seventh place on the standings. “We hope to win every game now,” Singh stated when asked about the team’s postseason chances.

“The results will also be beneficial if we follow the methods we set, reproduce what we can accomplish in our practice sessions, and execute them well.” Going forward, we shall give it our all and produce positive results,” Singh explained.

In both the current and previous seasons, Singh has been a frugal player in the league. He talked about his efforts in the Tata IPL over the last few years. “Right now, I’m not rating myself in any manner.” “Right now, all I want to do is make sure the team wins,” Singh added.

“I am pleased with my performance, but a sportsperson’s performance is never complete. I am grateful for the possibilities I’ve been given, and whenever I have the opportunity, I try to do my best for my team. “I’m hoping to keep performing well,” he remarked.

The Punjab Kings will play the Gujarat Titans at the DY Patil Stadium on May 3.
