Shoaib Akhtar disagreed with Rishabh Pant’s response on calling back your players, saying, ‘You can’t just call back teams like that when the umpire declares it.’
Akhtar, a former Pakistan bowler, referred to Rishabh Pant as a “youngster” and advised him to “be the bigger man” as skipper.

When the umpire did not rule a waist-high no-ball in match 34 of the IPL 2022, Delhi Capitals’ Rishabh Pant lost his temper and urged his batsmen to walk off.
DC needed 36 runs off the last over, with Rovman Powell sending the first three balls over the boundaries and Obed McCoy bowling a high full-toss with the third ball. Pant was furious, believing it should have been labeled a waist-high no-ball, and he contacted Powell and his teammate.

While assistant coach Shane Watson calmed the situation, Pravin Amre came onto the field to speak with the umpire, sparking the IPL’s first major incident. Pant was fined his entire game pay, while Amre was given a one-match suspension as a result of the activity.
‘Shane Watson was attempting to spare him from criticism’: Shoaib Akhtar
Former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar referred to Pant as a “youngster” and added that as a skipper, one should have the ability to “be the bigger man.”
“During my playing career, I had countless arguments, but I never did something wrong with umpires, officials, or authorities.” This is important to note because there are moments when you must be the bigger man.

He is a kid, a youngster, with Rishabh Pant. My advice to him would be to always demonstrate grace in such situations. Pant made a stupid error, in my opinion.
“He’s only recently been promoted to captain and is undeniably passionate. He is a gifted individual. He has the rest of his life ahead of him. Shane Watson was attempting to spare him from criticism” Shoaib Akhtar Added.
Rishabh Pant has 281 runs at an average of 31.22 and a strike rate of 152.72 in 11 games. He doesn’t have a single half-century under his belt, with the highest score being 44.
